Artist Sarah Scott

Sarah Scott's paintings are both expressive and introspective all at once. Sarah primarily paints figurative work, particularly women, with a focus on the inner life and emotional reality of women. Sarah's work is very personal, yet at the same time conveys the emotions, spiritual journey, and challenges of every woman.

Sarah Beth Scott is a self-taught artist who paints in acrylics on canvas. Sarah's work will be featured in Gallery 1, a fine art gallery in the heart of downtown Casa Grande, Arizona, beginning in August 2006. In addition, Sarah is currently a member of the Casa Grande Valley Fine Arts Association as well as Worldwide Women Artists, a juried professional artist organization.

Sarah has a Bachelor of Arts in Art History. While studying the history of art, Sarah studied abroad in the British Isles, as well as a short period of time in Paris.  She considers that time period and the art she was exposed to through museums such as the Louvre, one of the most influential and profound of her life. Sarah has been married to to her husband since 1999; together, they have two beautiful children.
