MY REVIEW
Wiithin its pages you will find, not only an amazing tale, but historical facts and interpretations of major events in storied history of the area which is today known as Salisbury, England.
This is a must read for any fan of historical fiction on level with the likes of James Clavell and Michener. Anyone with an interest in England or its history will find this to be one of the most satisfying reads which they have had in a long time.

Haven't read it yet.

I haven't read it yet but it's just been added to my list. Old Sarum is just outside Salisbury, and both Salisbury and Stonehenge are only 30 miles from Bournemouth where I grew up. It's an amazing area, full of iron age hill forts and burial mounds, not to mention wonderful scenery.
