Bigfoot or Sasquatch is alleged to be an ape-like creature inhabiting remote forests, mainly in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States and Canada. Bigfoot is usually described as a large, hairy, bipedal ape. Believers in its existence contend that such an animal, or close relatives of it, may be found around the world under different regional names, most prominently the Yeti of the Himalayas.

Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, is an alleged ape-like creature purportedly inhabiting forests, mainly in the Pacific Northwest region of North America. Bigfoot is usually described as a large, hairy, bipedal humanoid.

It can prove only that they just does not exists. It looks funny then scientists are finishing their ten years expeditions with only a photos of bigfoot footprints. Poeple are hunting not for fun, they are sponsored and gets high salary.
If you would start claiming that you saw a bigfoot you would become famous, if you have his footprin yyou would become much more famous. But if you would start claiming that you have just ridden on a pegasus, a flying horse, poeple would think you are crazy. Am I right?

For example, we have the North American Bigfoot, the Himalayan Yeti, the Chinese Wildman...etc. These creatures do not like humans and have no desire to be around them. Nor do they wish to be caught. Who would? Besides, absence of evidence does not prove evidence of absence. You can find detailed reports of sightings and encounters online. You can't ignore all the cultural indication from all over the world that such a creature exists. On the other hand, maybe it's better that they are a myth, that few truly believe in them because they're already hunted enough.

Honestly we have got nothing, try to carefully read the first line of that article you just gave us. Article says: "The Yowie is an unidentified hominid reputed to lurk in the Australian bush".

These are indeed rare creatures-- wonderfully gifted to have both eluded scientific validation and survived into the modern age. Encounters between their kind and humans are proportionately few. Only folks with personal experiences seeing, hearing and living near these creatures glimpse the truth. Until an investigator recovers physical remains, BF creatures will continue being taxonomically unverified.
