LPC Global will allow all Sr. Executives and Jr. Executives, the opportunity to purchase their cell phones, (price yet to be determined and dependent on model), and be a part of communications history, as LPC Global goes through their trial phase to ensure that all kinks get worked out prior to offering the service to the general public.In addition, once the trial period is over, the Division Managers will be offered the opportunity to purchase their phones. Once that group orders their phones, the Regional Managers will be offered the same. Upon the Regional Managers receiving their units, the District Managers will then have the opportunity to place their order.

The next group to be given access to the cell phones will be the Coordinators and the Representatives. Once the entire organization is given the opportunity to have their cell phones, THEN AND ONLY THEN, the cell phones and service will be offered to the general public.

Please keep in mind that this is a process that needs to be undergone prior to the general public receiving the opportunity to become members of LPC Global. Currently the membership has exceeded over 420,000 members, so we ask all of the membership to be patient and to understand that the general public will receive their cell phones ONLY after all of the loyal LPC Global management, coordinators and representatives have the opportunity to get theirs.

Satellite cell phone service in remote areas will change lives and even save lives.
According to a recent Consumer Reports survey, roughly 29 percent of people who bought a cell phone in the past year said they did so for emergencies. Unfortunately, lack of cell phone coverage in some of the remotest places in the country can make these devices about as useful as a paperweight.

If you need to reach Jan Chipchase, the best, and sometimes only, way to get him is on his cellphone. The first time I spoke to him last fall, he was at home in his apartment in Tokyo. The next time, he was in Accra, the capital of Ghana, in West Africa. Several weeks after that, he was in Uzbekistan, by way of Tajikistan and China, and in short order he and his phone visited Helsinki, London and Los Angeles.
Chipchase is 38, a rangy native of Britain whose broad forehead and high-slung brows combine to give him the air of someone who is quick to be amazed, which in his line of work is something of an asset. For the last seven years, he has worked for the Finnish cellphone company Nokia as a "human-behavior researcher." He's also sometimes referred to as a "user anthropologist." To an outsider, the job can seem decidedly oblique. His mission, broadly defined, is to peer into the lives of other people, accumulating as much knowledge as possible about human behavior so that he can feed helpful bits of information back to the company - to the squads of designers and technologists and marketing people who may never have set foot in a Vietnamese barbershop but who would appreciate it greatly if that barber someday were to buy a Nokia.
