Places to Eat in Sausalito

My favorite restaurants!

These are good places to eat in downtown Sausalito - Bridgeway is the street that runs through downtown and out through the water. Park your car and take a stroll. A bit touristy but interesting galleries, shops and places to eat. Let me guide you through. All of these places have been personally tried by me!
  • Fred's Coffee Shop
    1917 Bridgeway
    415-332-7660
    7am-3pm daily; cash only
Serving a wonderful rich breakfast for more than 40 years - fluffy omelettes, delicious pancakes, a decadent French Toast. Plus lunch specials, sandwiches, etc. Friendly service. Neighborhood spot. Say hi to Vicki for me!
  • Lighthouse Cafe
    1311 Bridgeway
    415-331-3034
    6:30-3 M-F; 7-3 Sat. & Sun.
American food and specials from Denmark. Good food - interesting Danish plates. Check out the menu on their webpage
    www.lighthouse-restaurant.com
  • Hamburgers
    737 Bridgeway
    open for lunch
    415-332-9471
Just like it sounds - good burgers; seats about 6 people in the crowded restaurant that could easier be called a stand. Order it like you want it. Good fries.
  • Sushi Ran
    107 Caledonia St.
    415-332-3620
Excellent sushi - some say the best in the Bay Area. (Caledonia is one block west of Bridgeway)
  • Water Street Grille
    660 Bridgeway
    415-332-8512
Decent food, spectacular views. Live music on Friday nights.
  • Caffe Trieste
    1000 Bridgeway
    415-332-7660
    6:30-11pm Mon-Thur; 6:30-midnight Fri & Sat; Sun 7-11
Great coffee! sandwiches, pastries. With many locations throughout San Francisco, Caffe Trieste lays claim to being the 1st espresso house in the Bay Area. Check out the website at www.caffetrieste.com
    Live music & poetry!
  • Venice Gourmet Deli
    625 Bridgeway
    415-332-9157
