Spending Money In Las Vegas
Vegas is filled with lots of temptation, especially temptations that may cause you to lose alot of money. There are casinos everywhere you go; in the airport, in the hotel, in some of the bars, etc... So you have to be careful with every dollar you have. NightClubs are not cheap either. Especially if you are trying to get into the hottest clubs in Las Vegas. If you don't have a car, travellng by taxi can empty your wallet rather quickly. There are many ways to save a dollar and tons of resources for great savings. If you want to make the most of your trip and stretch your dollar as far as you can, I have some tips that might help you along the way.
Plan Your Trip To Las Vegas
Before you leave on your trip, try and plan it well in advance. You can finding cheaper flights if you go during low season. Try to stay away when there are big conventions in town. Prices seem to be higher for hotels at that time. Subscribe for fare notifications through your travel website. You will often receive notices of cheap flights available or limited promotions that you can take advantage of. Use your membership card. You might have enough air miles, reward miles, available to take the trip you are interested in. You can also save money with memberships from CAA or AAA for hotels, car rentals, attractions and other services.Save Money While Shopping

Gambling In Las Vegas
Lots of people go to Vegas to try their Lady Luck. In all the Casinos that I have walked through around Las Vegas, not once have I heard the bells go off indicating that someone has hit the jackpot. I am sure there are some people who walk away with some money in their pocket but the majority of people do not. Gambling should be more for entertainment then for expecting some amazing windfall. If you want to gamble think rationally of what you would consider your entertainment spending budget. What could you afford and are willing to lose. Keep your bank cards and credit cards in the hotel safe if you don't have good willpower. There are lots of 1 cent, 2 cent, 5 cent and 25 cent slot machines that can keep you entertained for hours on a $40 budget. My tip to you would be to play in small increments and do not replay your winnings. I was happy to turn $5 into $36 and learned to walk away. How Is Your Luck

Take The Las Vegas Monorail
The Vegas Strip is pretty long. It will take you the whole day to get from one end to the other. Taking a taxi would be expensive and the bus system is slow. If you want to check out some of the hotels and attractions your best route is with the monorail. It is fast, affordable, and runs along the Strip. An all day pass will cost you $14 and it last for 24 hours. You can get on and off the monorail as often as you would like within a 24 hr period. A 3 day pass will cost you $30 if you want to take your time checking out all the sites.
