Learn More.Ok, What's This About?!?
well, honestly, you had to ask?!
After a while (and I mean a while since that movie hasn't been in theatres for a while) I began to think about my life. I was really doing anything. Well, besides the fact that I literally wasn't doing anything, as in sitting in from of the computer all night, I also didn't feel like I was living my life to it's full potential. "Potential". That word can kill. But what I was referring to was my potential to help others. If I was feelingas if I wasn't accomplishing anything, it was because I wasn't. And they always say you feel twice as good if you help someone else.
So, I began reading (Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul), reflecting (some remorable touching experiences I've witnessed), and watching tv. TV. My favorite past time. But I wasn't watching what I normally did. I was watching charity things. Like those infomercials. But one that really caught my eye was that Degrassi special where they built a school in Africa.
I was inpired! I've gotten on the computer and started researching charities. Many. And I came across Save the Children. One of the first things that caught my attention was their "lens" feature. Just by having a site and having people see it they get money. How cool is that?! I felt as though I wouldn't really be doing anything, but I knew it'd help. So I was led here. And I made this page.
That's my story.
