Just saw the news about the CEO of Go Daddy happily shooting at Elephants and killing one, then acting all proud of it. Sad.

So I'm posting this link to an article where Namecheap are actively doing something to save the elephants, including donating funds to charity if you transfers your names there:

ELEPHANT PAINTING is NOT done by intelligence, especially when realistic pictures are "painted." They are taught through abusive training to hold the brush with a nail up their trunk to get the finer strokes necessary for accuracy. Even when curling their trunk around a big brush, this is not something an elephant would choose to do - you might as well be seeing it do something equally unnatural like riding a bicycle. Never buy elephant painting, never go trekking as the seats hurt their spines, no matter how well the appearance of padding. And never buy ivory, of course. Abolish elephant slavery.
