I'm talking about squirrels.
These precious fur balls, with their bushy little tails, are the source of joy for many!
One word comes to mind: Scamper. But I don't mean the delightful romps of these animals. I mean the fact that we are scampering on their rights to coexist with us.
How many squirrel lives must we take before we realize that there must be a change! This is a petition site, open to anyone for comment.
Squirrel Rights Debate
It's a simple question - should these adorable creatures share some rights with their supposedly more responsible relatives, the humans.
Should Squirrels Have the Same Rights as Humans?
Fetching blurbs now... please stand byYes, it's time to end the oppression
Scott says:
Yes, of course they should. I would be easier for us humans if they weren't so damn suicidal though. I don't even drive a car, but I have killed them with my bike. They just freaking run right out in front of you giving you little , if any, chance to avoid them. I have injured myself swerving to avoid them and crashing on my bicycle. What is it that makes them so self destructive? Is it really that bad to be a squirrel that you you have to throw yourself under the wheels of a bus, or a bike?

My squirrel and I have been trying to conceive for a while now but it's not working. We decided on adoption but because squirrels do not have the same rights as humans we are not allowed to adopt. :(

The Most Important Squirrel Need
10 Reasons Why We Love Squirrels
1) Bushy Tails. Ah, who doesn't love bushy fuzzy things.1.5) Furry Heads.
2) They munch. You could even say they nibble. Aren't 'munch' and 'nibble' adorable words!!!
3) They know how to use lightsabers. Yes, I found this picture online. It appears that squirrels are an advanced species with technology beyond ours.
4) Aesthetic. I like looking at Squirrels more than I like looking at some people.
5)They're playful. Doesn't your heart melt every time you see a gentleman squirrel chasing a lady squirrel : D
6) Squirrels Can't Emotionally Abuse You. I have never heard a squirrel say, "Son, when are you going to stop being a damn idiot and get a real job with a real purpose?"
7) The Picture of a Squirrel in Fancy Clothes. Doesn't Mr. Squirrel looks so dapper in his tiny suit and hat!
7.5) Not to mention his stylish cravat! Good lookin', you're going to be a heart breaker!
8) Little heads. They don't have big heads like some animals, they have little bitty heads! SO PRECIOUS!
9) Squirrels Won't Leave You. That's right, after 23 years of marriage and memories a squirrel won't leave you when it doesn't understand your passion.
10) Bushy Tails. I know I already said it, but I just love their furry little tails!!!

AWWW!!! Mr. Squirrel thinks he's a photographer!
