Saving a marriage can entail a lot of work on communication and other personal skills. It may not seem worth it, as divorce can seem like the only way out. But if you need to think about more than just yourself, such as the children you have with your spouse, you will find that saving your marriage will become one of the most important discussions you and your spouse will ever have.

It might be hard for you to understand and cope with all the problems of your marriage, but you will also need to think of the children. Even if you do your best to keep marital problems away from little eyes and ears, children can still tell what is going on. Can Your Marriage Be Saved?

One way to save your marriage is to attend marriage counseling. You must both attend the counseling sessions if you want it to work. A counselor will mediate between the two of you to help you try and work through some of the issues that has brought you two further apart. Typically, the things you fight about aren't what's bothering you. The issues that are affecting your marriage are usually much deeper and they need to be uncovered. A marriage counselor is trained to do this. So give marriage counseling a try and give it time to work. You may find that that's all you needed to bring you two back together.

Get Away

Sometimes, the daily grind of life is too much for couples to take. Work, kids, house work and other issues affect a person's sanity. Sometimes, to save a marriage, all the couple needs to do is take a much needed vacation. Call it a second honeymoon if you will. Go somewhere the two of you can be alone, where you can relax and bask in each other's presence. When you're away from life's daily stressors and you don't have the screaming kids, or the boss breathing down your neck, you can truly focus on each other, you can focus on the marriage and you may fall in love once more. Taking a second honeymoon, then, is a great idea for saving a marriage.

There must be a Love to save the marriage

To truly save a marriage, you need to remember why the two of you got together in the first place. There must have been a reason. Reminisce to the time when you first met. What were you both going through? What were you feeling? How have you changed, if you have at all? You may find that saving your marriage is easier than you thought it would be.

nice lens and nice topic..
people should learn as much as possible about relationships and stop thinking that things will just get better later ... and then think that they should have done something before ... it was too late...

It's really sad when couples have to divorce. I wish they could give more consideration to each other and think about what they're giving up. I'm sure this lens can be of help.
