Learn as you play was the first book that I ever used to learn the saxophone. It was a great book and is great for absolute beginners because it goes through all the basics all the way to passing grade 1 exams and further. I defiantly a must have book for anyone who is starting the saxophone and wants to go all the way with it. It teaches you all the finger positions and tells you all of the scales you'll need to know to be at grade 2 level.Great Book for Beginners
