The Undeniable Truth About Scalp Psoriasis!

Cure Scalp Psoriasis

It's hard to diagnose scalp psoriasis and/or make the distinction between seborrhea dermatitis or dandruff when there is very little Psoriasis on the rest of the body. It requires a closer look at the nails, knees, and elbows to see if there are any signs of developing Psoriasis.

Often, scalp psoriasis will be accompanied with psoriasis in the gluteus fold of the buttocks, but if not, diagnose of scalp psoriasis is that much harder.

The common signs of Scalp Psoriasis are dry scaly patches scattered on the scalp and look like patches of psoriasis as seen anywhere else on the body.

If the psoriasis is rather mild, it might even look as a swelling from extensive scratching which seems to get larger and larger.

The problem with Scalp Psoriasis is that it can quickly spread onto the forehead or the skin beyond the hairline as well as behind the ears. I've had a mild case of scalp psoriasis which did spread behind and at the fold of the ear causing mild cracking, but has since totally disappeared since I've stopped using shampoos. In the summer months, this would always disappear due to the constant exposure to the heat of the sun.

It's not true, that scalp psoriasis is a common location for everybody who has psoriasis. Actually, it's the minority. Most people who have psoriasis will rarely develop scalp psoriasis to the extent we are talking about.

Those are the types of scalp psoriasis that develop very thick skin and scales usually behind the scalp near the back of the neck area. The problem is that in the early stages, you think it's regular dandruff but as anyone who has psoriasis knows, on other parts of the body it appears as a small pimple and then develops into a full blown psoriasis.

The cause of scalp psoriasis is no different from any other psoriasis...

"I want to thank you for helping my 74 year old father..."

"Dear Mia, I want to thank you for helping my 74 year old father.

He's bed-ridden in a home and has always suffered from bad scalp psoriasis. The nurses washed his scalp every day with medicated washes and shampoos to avoid contamination from resistant viruses etc.

Then I read your book and discovered all this washing with stuff was making his scalp psoriasis worse and unbearably itchy especially around his ears & his scalp which was red raw!

We took your advice and I wanted to let you know that Dad's scalp psoriasis is almost completely gone now - just a little redness left where it's still healing.

The most important thing though was that it stopped the itching that was driving him crazy so he could be comfortable again!"
