Scavenger Hunt Ideas

Before you can start a scavenger hunt you definitely need some time to prepare, because the best of fun you have is when the scavenger hunt is well prepared.

First you have to ask yourself what is the purpose of your scavenger hunt. Put some thought into that because when you have answered that question it will be much easier to put your hunt together.

Now it is time to prepare lists, be as creative as you can. You can plan your list around a theme: people, food, animals, occupations, Halloween, Christmas etc...

Plan your point system.
Is each item going to have value points? What are you going to have penalty points for? Are there going to be award points and so on.

The more effort you put into your scavenger hunt the better the day will be. Let me tell you the more you immerse yourself planning the hunt the more fun it is for you as well.

Recently I found this book on scavenger hunts, which is full of great ideas and easy to follow and well worth having a look at.
