This jewelry making project uses 22 gauge wire to make a link that can be used in a bracelet or a necklace. My recollection form my days in school many, many years ago is that the Romans had a symbol of rank called a Scepter that was made of a series of wooden rods bound together at top and bottom. This link uses many fine strands of wire bound together at each end and for this reason reminds me of the Roman Scepter.

Jewelry Supplies:
30 inches of 22G soft wire
20 inches of 22G half-hard wire (preferred)
One commercial clasp
Six 8 mm beads
Two 4mm beads
2.5 inches of fine commercial chain
Jewelry Tools:
Round Nose Pliers
Flush Cutter
Chain Nose or Bent Chain Nose Pliers (2)
Fine Step Jaw Pliers
Nylon Jaw Pliers (desired)
Any WigJig acrylic jig
3 metal pegs
1 long metal peg
45 minutes of free time
Jewelry Skills Required:
Use of a WigJig to make wire components.
Ability to connect wire components using a wrapped bead link.
