A Zero Adminstration Eco-friendly Fundraiser
That gets kids involved
How Our Zero Administration Fundraiser Works:Your school signs up to do our fundraiser and is assigned a customer number that will be used by your students and their families to register on our website as participants. A point person from the school with a valid email address is required for sign-up.
We supply you with an eco-friendly flyer that you will distribute to all faculty and students. It will include the customer number and instructions for participation. You can also send a promotion for the fundraiser to your students and supporters through email, standard mail, by posting a link on your website or any combination of the three.
Your students and supporters receive the correspondence and decide to participate in the fundraiser. They go to our website and register as a participant using your school's unique customer number. A valid email address is required to become a participant.
After the participant registers, they are assigned and emailed their own unique website address that never changes for the duration of the fundraiser. Using this website link to purchase the book from our website guarantees that your school will receive its share of the proceeds and that the participant will be credited with a point for each book sold as part of our student contest.
Not only can your students and their families use this link to purchase their own redemption book, but they will be instructed to email it to extended family and friends or to post it on the internet in places like Myspace and Facebook. The more people that purchase the product by using this unique website address, the more funds you raise for the school and the more points the student earns for the contest.
We call this Zero Administration because we securely collect the funds, pay applicable taxes and ship the product directly to your supporters. You never handle any funds or product.
Our website offers tools to make it really easy to spread the word. From the participant's secure login they can do the following with one click:
o Use their client-based email to send a message promoting the fundraiser, including their unique web address, to everyone in their address book.
o Use our system to email themselves their unique web address at anytime (in case they lose it or to use for forwarding to family and friends).
o Copy their unique web address to their computer's clipboard for the purposes of pasting it anywhere they like.
o Automatically post their unique web address on Myspace or Facebook (they must be logged in to these sites at the time).
Your supporters will be offered two versions of the redemption book:

The price that supporters pay for the myGreenSpark Redemption Book is $30 plus tax and shipping. Your organization receives between 40% and 50% of the purchase price, depending on the amount sold.
The fundraiser starts in November and will be available through April of 2008.
There are no minimums and no obligation. It's so easy you'll forget it's even going until you get the check.
