The School of Everything

The basic idea is to bring teachers and students together.

OK, so what is a student? This can be anyone wishing to train or inhance their skills to find that next job or to increase their knowledge about a subject.

A teacher or educator is a person with the knowledge and skills you need, but they charge you for the service.

This Lens explains how it works. I am not connected or receive any payment for creating this Lens from "School of Everything". I thought it was such a good idea, especially at the moment. This is my contribution to the world.

If you have time, please cast your vote, 4-5 stars are always good.

OK, let's get started. Section 1

You need to visit the "School of Everything" website. This is the start page.

If you need to learn new skills for a job, or want to improve your existing knowledge, this is the place. If you have skills, and most people do, then you can earn income by teaching what you know.

Section 2

One of the advantages of "School of Everything" is that you can link back to your Lens or website as well as creating a specific profile. If you are new to Squidoo, perhaps the best idea is to create your basic Lens and then join the School.

To enhance your chances of being found, I have created a dedicated Group just for School of Everything Lenses and you can add your School of Everything Lens in the module below as well.

You will not be alone, there are already more than 3,000 Educators registered and more that 5,000 registered students, perhaps waiting for you to join.

hundreds of thousands of people have lost their job, now here is the place to extend your knowledge to give you a better chance of success, or to make money for what you know.

When you have created your "School of Everything" Lens, add it here

So why did I register?

I enjoy helping people and companies, maximise their existing web resources, to obtain high Page Rankings in search engines. There is no certain way, just lots and lots of little bits, continuously worked on, and over time success comes.

You may already have a website, but did you know you need 7 different types of Sitemaps? See my Sitemap Lens for more information. Sitemaps need updating at least weekly.

With everybody downsizing, this area is likely to get forgotten, but it is so important. There are many other things that should also be done, If you need help contact me.

So I registered offering my knowledge and skills and it was free of charge.

Teaching and Learning

In education, a teacher is a person who educates others. A teacher who educates an individual student may also be described as a personal tutor.

The role of teacher is often formal and ongoing, carried out by way of occupation or profession at a school or other place of formal education. In many countries, a person wishing to become a teacher at state-funded schools must first obtain professional qualifications or credentials from a university or college. These professional qualifications may include the study of pedagogy, the science of teaching. Teachers may use a lesson plan to facilitate student learning, providing a course of study which covers a standardized curriculum. A teacher's role may vary between cultures. Teachers teach literacy and numeracy, or some of the other school subjects. Other teachers may provide instruction in craftsmanship or vocational training, the Arts, religion or spirituality, civics, community roles, or life skills. In some countries, formal education can take place through home schooling.

Informal learning may be assisted by a teacher occupying a transient or ongoing role, such as a parent or sibling or within a family, or by anyone with knowledge or skills in the wider community setting.

Religious and spiritual teachers, such as gurus, mullahs, rabbis pastors/youth pastors and lamas may teach religious texts such as the Quran, Torah or Bible.
