School Pride - Defined

what is it?

The most common way people have school pride or school spirit is through basic competition. Sports is one of the universal rallying points for students and alumni to be proud of their alma mater.

This explains why many of the US colleges with the most school spirit tend to have competitive sports programs.

This is not the only measure by which we compare schools or have pride. And there are many other (and often more important) ways to be proud about your alma mater.

Below is a list of some other ways people have School Pride:

Other forms of School Pride

  • Student Atmosphere
  • Faculty and Teaching Staff
  • Guidance and Counseling
  • Career Impact
  • Alumni Association
