Schools in Marbella Costa Del Sol

Marbella has become something much more than a holiday destination. With a fabulous climate all year round, excellent communication links and an infrastructure not seen in any other Mediterranean resort Marbella has become a great place to live.
Part of that infrastructure includes the first class education facilities and here is a brief overview of some of the schools in the area.
Aloha College

Independent day school for children aged 3-18 situated on the outskirts of Marbella. The college was founded in 1982 as a non-profit-making limited company, and is now a foundation which provides an international education for around 700 pupils of some 46 nationalities.
The facilities of the school include four science laboratories, a music suite with practice rooms, a library, an art/design studio with photographic dark room and a new Astroturf pitch. The College has state of the art computing facilities with two new computing rooms and a school intranet.
The school operates a bus service to transport pupils to school from the outlying districts to the east and west of Marbella.
Entry is by interview and examination arranged through the Principal and the Head of Primary School. Aloha College also requires a copy of previous school reports and a school reference from all prospective pupils. Calpe College

Calpe College was established in January 1973 and provides junior and senior school education to 180 children of mixed nationalities. It is located on two separate sites in San Pedro and is one of the longest established schools on the Costa del Sol.
English and Spanish is taught as well as other languages such as French, Swedish, German and Russian.
The school has been fully recognized and authorized by in the United Kingdom and Spain. The school is a recognized centre for IGCSE and GCSE examinations for the Cambridge, London, Oxford and RSA examination boards as well as A/AS levels and GNVQ`s.
