Happiness Research
Martin Seligman approaches psychology from the point of what is right with healthy people. The first book of his that I read was What You Can Change and What You Can't. With that I saw a whole new way of looking at the world. His focus is on what is positive. In fact, the University of Pennsylvania even has a Positive Psychology Center.
