Science: Everything and anything

I like science. Both kinds. The real one, especially biology, physics, astronomy and all in between. I like Science Fiction as well, although sometimes the distinction is difficult to see... perhaps just a matter of time, what is fiction today becomes real sometime.

A paralel universe found?

This is what one would call a ground-shaking piece of news. In August 2007 a large scale space maping projects found that a huge region of the Eridanus constellation is almost devoid of starts and material. This seems inexplicable for many astrophysicists but University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill physics Professor Laura Mersini-Houghton shot a mind-blowing hypothesis: the "big void" is the signature of the existence of another universe. I wanted to share the story with everybody. Read this science story here.
