I have been studying Scientology for 25 years and find it to be a wonderful subject and very practical.  I am stunned by things I read on the internet and in the press that are so inaccurate.  So I have decided to put a few references up here so anyone who is checking Scientology out can get the correct view point.

If you are interested in personal development, there is no better system then Scientology.  It works.  It is not dead-easy and it is not for the faint hearted.  It takes some investment of your personal time, but the benefits are astronomical.

I know of no other system that provides the extensive understanding of the human spirit and its relation to life.  Above all, Scientology is practical.  It has the tools to help anyone with any situation.  It can help a druggy get off drugs, it can save a marriage, it can make the shy person confident, it can boom a business or save a country from destruction and prevent the ultimate insanity called war.  You can study and use Scientology if you are already a deeply relgious person or if you are a skeptic.

One of the most important goals in Scientology is to: "Think for yourself." This is a basic in Scientology.  Everything is directed to this end.  Yet the press have completely missed this.  If you want to get better, if you want to know the truth about life and your true potential you have to "Think for yourself." 

This includes the process of finding out about Scientology.  Don't listen to what others say about it; YOU check out the Scientology websites or read some Scientology books for yourself.   Other wise you will end up with someone else's opinion and this is NOT thinking for yourself.

 

What is Scientology

The word Scientology literally means "the study of truth." It comes from the Latin word "scio" meaning "knowing in the fullest sense of the word" and the Greek word "logos" meaning "study of."

Scientology is the study and handling of the spirit in relationship to itself, others and all of life. The Scientology religion comprises a body of knowledge extending from certain fundamental truths. Prime among these:

Man is an immortal, spiritual being. His experience extends well beyond a single lifetime. His capabilities are unlimited, even if not presently realized - and those capabilities can be realized. He is able to not only solve his own problems, accomplish his goals and gain lasting happiness, but also achieve new, higher states of awareness and ability.

In Scientology no one is asked to accept anything as belief or on faith. That which is true for you is what you have observed to be true. An individual discovers for himself that Scientology works by personally applying its principles and observing or experiencing results.

Through Scientology, people all over the world are achieving the long-sought goal of true spiritual release and freedom.

L. Ron Hubbard wrote more then 100 books and gave thousands of lectures. To find out for yourself what Scientology is all about you should read or listen to what L. Ron Hubbard says, not to what someone else says "about it."
