Share Your Favourites
Following on from my popular lens on Top Sci-Fi Movies, I've created this lens on Sci-Fi TV Shows. As before, I've listed my own favourites, and then provided a space for you to add and vote for your favourite shows.
There are two Plexo modules for you to contribute to: the Top TV Shows for the recent ones, and the Golden Oldies for the ones from our childhoods.
Science Fiction on the TV
My Favourite Sci-Fi Series
Firefly - The Complete Series
This TV series got canned after only 14 episodes - a real shame because the characters and plots are superbly conceived by Joss Whedon (Buffy).
Serenity (Widescreen Edition)
Technically a feature length film, this follows on from series 'Firefly'. The crew are tired of running from the Alliance, and are keen to find out what the Alliance is hiding.
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: The Complete Series (Seasons 1-7)
This is my favourite series of Star Trek and, as I've just bought the whole 7 seasons, I'm going to be watching for most of 2007. I liked the other series too, but this one seems to have been on TV less recently and less often.
Babylon 5 - The Complete Television Series (5-Pack)
Babylon 5 is set on a space station, similar to DS9. However, it is a different Universe, with different histories, races and politics.
Doctor Who - The Complete First and Second Series (11pc)
The newest batch from the BBC, which sees the return of some of our favourite baddies: The Daleks and the Cybermen - at the same time!
What's Your Favourite TV Show?

Tales from the Crypt: The Complete Seasons 1-7
Television viewers got a fright in 1989 when TALES FROM THE CRYPT made the transition from EC comic book to TV show. Hosted by the Cryptkeeper each episode of the show offered a new ghoulish tale for the audience to sink their teeth (or fangs) into. The show originated on HBO and all six episodes from the first season are included here. It was such a success that myriad CRYPT-inspired spinoffs resulted including an animated series several feature films and seemingly infinite merchandising opport...1 point
The Complete UFO Megaset
UFO was Gerry Anderson's first live-action TV series after a decade of producing such children's animated classics as Stingray (1963) and Thunderbirds (1964). The premise of UFO, which ran for a single season of 26 episodes in 1970, was like a more serious version of Anderson's Captain Scarlet (1967): in the near future of 1980, a high-tech secret organization, SHADO, waged covert war against mysterious alien attackers. Ed Bishop played the American head of SHADO--he had been previously featured...1 point

- I love all the Star Trek TV sows, but TNG is probably my favorite. I'm stuck on Voyager re-runs now, because I was in Germany when it first aired. I love it. Deep Space Nine is also awesome, and I'll let you in on a little secret that will prove I'm completely nuts, my son's middle name is Adamar, I named him after Damar, the cardassian on DS9. I just loved his character. (Don't tell anyone, okay?)

- I have heard great things about firefly and serenity but I missed them while they were on air. I try not to get too into any sci-fi shows these days because all of the good ones are always canceled! I highly recommend The 4400, however. I had to buy all of the seasons on DVD. It was canceled, but it is still worth it to watch the seasons that made it to air.
