Scoooooby-Doooby-Doooooooooooooo!
Scoob has got to be one of the most loved cartoon characters ever created by Hanna Barbera. Although many updates and spin-offs have been created since 1969, it still retains a very 60's feeling of the hippy summer of love.

Scooby Doo! Where Are You?
Each episode of the cartoon was quite formulaic, with the gang either being called in to investigate a ghost, supernatural phenoma or monster as 'Mystery, Inc.' or stumbling across such a mystery. Whilst Fred, Daphne & Velma took on the serious investigation, Scooby & Shaggy would eat lots, goof off and usually be the ones who ran into the ghost/monster by accident. There key to solving the mystery usually was shown to be reluctant and paranoid, whilst the brains worked out plans to solve the mystery by finding various clues. Each episode would usually end with the discovery of the ghost or monster being someone in a costume, usually the janitor or caretaker. They would then be lead off by the police uttering the famous words -"I would of got away with it if it wasn't for those pesky kids!" SCOOBERT
is actually the real name of our Scooby!
