Wonderful lens! So many beautiful items to peruse, and such a lot of information about Scotland, too. I've always been fascinated by Scotland, and would you believe one of the things on my "To Do" list is learning to play bagpipes! (and let me just say, if Sean Connery had been MY milkman, I'd have been drinking a lot more milk!) Thanks for a great lens.

So many beautiful suggestions! I love the jewelry and you already know I adore the Scottish scarves. My Scotland scarf travels the world with me. I wouldn't leave home without it :) I had no idea greeting meant weeping. I shall have to change my salutation to you from now on. Certainly wish for no weeping!

I'd love to visit Scotland some day (it's on our list of places to visit) -- but in the meantime, I can make do with some of these Scottish gift ideas. My husband and I both like Celtic designs -- when he lost his first wedding ring (!) we replaced it with a ring with a Celtic design. And, oh yes, Sean Connery is quite fine!
  • WordCustard Oct 31, 2010 @ 9:58 am | delete
Hope you can come and visit soon! Won't get Sean Connery delivering your milk these days but you'll love it here just the same. :)

Don't you just feel as though you could burst with pride! We were married in Jamaica where the men wore the Kilts! What a stir they caused when we went out for the night...and they all remembered us for the rest of our holiday as "the men who wear skirts"
  • WordCustard Aug 4, 2010 @ 2:44 pm | delete
Thanks Lisa, so glad this made you proud to be a Scot! I think the world is fascinated by the idea of a kilt... :)
  • Treasures-By-Brenda Jun 25, 2010 @ 3:40 pm | delete

  • WordCustard Jun 26, 2010 @ 5:08 am | delete
Oh admit it, Brenda, you like the men in kilts! ;)

I love going to Scotland, particularly the highlands, but I usually fly up to Edinburgh for the weekend, from London, or get the over-night train, then rent a car from there.
