Your bonus! Corn on the Cob - the easy way !
and the best tasting! Your bonus just for stopping by!
Buy fresh corn at the produce market. Shucks and all! When you get home, take one ear out of the bag. Place in the microwave. Do not remove shucks. Just put in the microwave. Set timer for 3 minutes for one ear.
In 3 minutes, this will be the most delicious corn you ever tasted. The shucks and silks will fall right off the corn. I grab a paper towel and rub off any remaining silks.
Wasn't that easy?
Want to cook more than one ear of corn at a time? Simply add one minute for each additional ear.
Hint: If you take a knife and gently cut down the center of each row of kernals, it will be even easier to eat and more delish!
Don't forget to add a little butter and salt and pepper before serving! Yummy!

- The way that we scramble eggs in the UK is to crack and stir the eggs in a jug/bowl, then bring a little milk and butter plus salt/pepper to a boil in a pan, turn down the heat to a simmer, add the eggs, and keep stirring until cooked, which gives you nice fluffy eggs. Everyone I met in the USA prepared them in a skillet, stirring occasionally, which gave you the sort of scrambled eggs you get in a diner, more like an omelette. I much prefer the fluffy eggs I grew up with.
