Scrapbooking Mini Books

How to Make Mini Books

Scrapbooking Mini Books are a wonderful alternative to regular scrapbooking pages. Mini books can be made from a wide variety of materials including paper, fabric, plastic and polymer clay - limited only by your imagination. With Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up, there will be a wealth of inspiration and maybe even some gift ideas.

Looking for a way use up some of your bits and pieces left over from other scrapbooking projects? Mini books often don't need much. Left overs and extras are perfect to make/create unique and stunning mini books.

Often you can end up with more photos than you can fit into a single layout. Many of these layouts would be OK if you only used only a few, select photos that were able to tell the complete story you are trying to tell on a single layout page. There are some stories, however, that need lots of pages and photos to tell the complete story. In one of my layouts, I wanted to tell the story of my pregnancy. I had lots of ultrasounds and pictures to use and just a couple of layouts would not be enough to compete the story. So I created a mini-book to hold all of the extras from the story in one place. This is what mini books can be used for.
