Scrapbooking Baby
I mean photo scrapbooking would really have to be the best possible way to record and document your lasting memories and the emotion that goes with those pictures. When you look through a pile of baby photos in years to come, they make you smile in amazement, you tend to forget how little they were, how cute and adorable they were, and the photos bring those memories back to you. How many times do you see people looking through baby photos and they are turning them over, hoping there is a little something written on the back, how old baby was, what exactly what going on that was so funny and so on. Photos capture the actual image, but there is a lot that a photo just can't capture, and that is what scrapbooking is all about, it's about capturing the whole story, the whole memory.
There is nothing better than browsing the pages of beautiful baby scrapbook that has been carefully and so lovingly put together by its creator, it is often just bursting with the most adorable photos, the funniest memories, the sweetest memories, it just really puts into perspective how important and precious a new baby is, no matter whose baby it is, they are all so very, very, special.
Scrapbooking baby is a wonderful and very rewarding thing to do, whether you are scrapbooking your own baby or whether you are making a very special scrapbooking baby album for a dear friend, either way it will be a much treasured album, now and in the years to come. There are lots of things you can include when you are scrapbooking baby, like where they came from, and no I don't mean the birds and the bees, some examples of the kinds of things you can include are:
Photos of mum and dad
Photos of mums beautiful tummy while she was still pregnant
The very first photos of baby, yes the ultrasound photos
You can also include snippets of things happening in the world news around the time of baby's birth
Then of course there will be baby's birth
And well after baby is born, there will be no shortage of photos and memories, you will be flooded with ideas and memories and precious moments you just can't wait to add to your scrapbooking baby album.
Often for a lot of people, it is the actual birth or the arrival of a new baby that all of a sudden ignites a burning desire to start scrapbooking, but don't forget, even if you have adult children, it is never too late to scrapbook their adorable photos of when they were a baby. No matter what age your children are, they will still appreciate and be amazed by all the wonderful things you can incorporate into a delightful baby scrapbook all about them!
Whether you give the scrapbook baby album to them, or just show it to them, they will love it for sure, and in years to come when you probably end up with some adorable, extra special grandchildren, they too will love the scrapbooking baby album you made about their mother or father, and by that point, probably the one you made about them too.

- Before the internet AND esp. before Squidoo, I had LOTS more time for hobbies such as scrapbooking. Alas, with the digital age -- I now have tens of thousands of pictures that need to be organized -- ah, a virtual scrapbook! Now that is an idea.
