Review of ScubaPro Computers
The passions run high on both sides of the argument. It is my belief as a passionate diver and Instructor that the RDP is certainly more conservative and therefore, if used correctly, may be safer. There are two problems with the tables 1. almost no one remembers how to use them and 2. they are too conservative for most experienced divers.
If you are going to be doing serious diving you will likely want to add a computer to you collection of dive gear.
While I discuss ScubaPro/Uwatec computers here the basic styles apply to many other brands. What I particularly like about Uwatec is the warrantee and service. We have very good experiences with repairs and upgrading if repairs cannot be made.
