Sea Isle City is one of the nicest beaches along the Jersey Shore. It's well known for being more low-scale and family friendly. In the summer, the population swells to over 150,000 but in the off-season it drops to 3,000. This gives you two very different kinds of vacation experiences. Calm, and peaceful in the off-season. Bustling and exciting in the summers.

Recently, I took a trip to Sea Isle City with my wife in October and we stayed at The Colonnade Inn. What a fantastic little getaway. You may not think that traveling to the beach in October makes much sense, but it actually does....especially if you like a peaceful vacation like us.
The temperature was around 65 degrees the whole time. The skies were blue and the sun was out. We took long walks along the beach and promenade. Just a fantastic place and highly recommended, especially for all the Philly and Eastern PA people who need a close location to get away.
