The Seabees Motto
Seabees rule, they are the jack-of-all-trades, and amaze people around the world with their construction prowess! My husband and I are proud to have served with the best bunch of people we have ever known!
Take a look around and make sure to leave a message, especially if you are from NMCB 74.

History of the Seabees
This history was prepared in 1997 by Dr. Vincent A. Transano, command historian of the Naval Facilities Engineering Command.
Operation: Seabees Knowledge
"To make the broader military community, and the public at large, better aware of the ongoing role of the Seabees as U.S. Navy combat troops and construction workers heavily involved in national defense and humanitarian aid worldwide."
CEC/Seabee Historical Foundation
"The CEC/Seabee Historical Foundation is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to ensure that the proud heritage and rich history of the Navy's Civil Engineer Corps and the Navy's military construction force, the Seabees, are properly documented, preserved and maintained. Public awareness of the contributions and accomplishments of the Seabees and the Civil Engineer Corps is a primary goal."
The US Navy Seabee Museum
"The Seabees and Civil Engineer Corps have a rich tradition of protecting our freedom and helping build a better world. The U.S. Navy Seabee Museum is being built to preserve their history, educate visitors and promote their famous "Can Do" spirit for generations to come."
U.S. Naval Construction Force
"For over 60 years, the men and women of the Naval Construction Force have been giving their all to protect our Nation and serve our armed forces with pride."
Veteran's of NMCB 74
"First of all, in response to many questions, this site is free. No obligation of any kind. Second, no I did not retire from the Armed Forces. I got out when my obligation was over ( as did MANY Vietnam Veterans)."
Hero: the Seabees
The 25th Naval Construction Battalion "...Something scored a direct hit on a Higgins boat jammed with Marines -- not a pleasant sight -- made you feel as if someone had kicked you in the stomach..."
Seabee Sites on the Internet
"Like many segments of American society, Seabees are joining the information age. While the bulldozer and hammer remain our primary tools, the keyboard and modem are becoming equally important."
