Seal is an Afro-European singer known for dance tracks as well as soulful ballads. He's won three Grammy Awards, most notably for his song "Kiss From a Rose" that appeared on the BATMAN FOREVER soundtrack. He's also gained press from his marriage to German fashion model Heidi Klum, with whom he has two children.
His latest album, SYSTEM, was released in November 2007 and he headlined the SF Black & White Ball in May 2008.

About Seal
Seal is a British singer of Nigerian and Brazilian heritage. His full name has been cited as "Sealhenry Olumide Samuel" and "Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel."He is known for preferring to produce quality music over quantity, and has worked many times with UK producer Trevor Horn. His early music had a very strong dance sound, but later releases have moved more into the territory of soul, R&B and adult contemporary. For his latest album, SYSTEM, he went back to incorporate more of his dance roots and picked Stuart Price to be the producer.
Live in concert, Seal has a fondness for changing arrangements of his songs, so you might hear a ballad done as an uptempo, dance piece, or a pop song might have more of a jazz feel. This definitely makes seeing him perform turn into something special as you never know what you might hear.
In early 2004, Seal began dating German model Heidi Klum. Heidi was pregnant from her previous relationship and later that year, her daughter Leni was born. Seal devotedly jumped in fatherhood and has always referred to Leni as his own child. The couple wed in the spring of 2005, shortly after announcing they were expecting their first child together. Son Henry was born in September of that year, and younger brother Johan followed in November 2006.

Seal got a huge boost when the single "Kiss From A Rose" was picked to be part of the "Batman Forever" soundtrack. The video incorporated bits of the movie contrasted with the singer singing on a rooftop next to the Bat signal.
