He first made a splash with Fast Times at Ridgemont High, a movie I hated and still hate today, but over the years Sean Penn has proven himself as one of the most interesting and explosive actors working in Hollywood this generation.

Talented, intense and dedicated to his craft, he's delivered one awe-inspiring performance after another over a 26 year career with very little garbage.

While he once held a reputation as one of Hollywood's bad boys, with a high temper and prone to fisticuffs, now that he's in his 40's he's settled down into seriousness quite a bit and most of his trouble-making is reserved for his political pronouncements.
