1. Make sure search engines have your site indexed. Do searches in Google, Bing and Yahoo for your website (ex. website.com). If it's not there, do a search on "website submission" to find info on how to submit your site.

2. Make sure you have text on your site. Got a Flash site? Make sure your core information is in text and not images, Flash, videos, or some other media. Search engines use text to determine what your site is about and needs text in order to help place your website in it's search results.

3. Constantly add new, relevant content to your site. Search engines love websites that offer new things for people to read.
