Law of Attraction - Make a Vision Board

A vision board is a collection of images, drawings, or words that you put together. These items reflect your desires and dreams of what, who, how and where you want to be in life. By collecting these specific images and thoughts into a single place, you clarify your ideas, and train your brain into looking for, and finding subtle opportunities for you to have all that you desire. This is where the Law of Attraction comes into play.

If you haven't watched 'The Secret' you must! It's most definately worth buying, so you can watch it more than once. It's a very powerful movie that will show you a new way to think about your existence on this planet. The Law of Attraction is described as a physical law, like the Law of Gravity, where your thoughts, conscious and subconscious, help carve new pathways in your brain that lead you to the end result of your thought. Example: if you constantly worry and wonder if you're going to get into a car accident, you probably will. The reason for this is your brain connects every physical, non-physical, and spiritual part of your existence. If you continually give your brain a piece of information, good or bad, your brain becomes trained to focus on this bit of information, and looks for ways to transform that thought into a reality. Another negative example of the Law of Attraction is this: if you are constantly worrying that your spouse might cheat on you, you display certain characteristics, and may even verbally relay cues to your spouse. This may all be subconscious on both parts, however, the fact that you are focused on the cheating leaves roadways for the universe to actually create that circumstance. Don't be surprised when your spouse cheats on you. Though your spouse is responsible for his/her actions in a situation such as this one, ultimately, whether you knew it or not, you gave off clues and cues to set this up for happening.

So what's the good news??? Read on....

Using the exact method as described above, you may also choose to focus on things that you would LIKE to happen. Science has discovered that your mind can't tell the difference between actually possessing a physical object, and imagining that you possess that object. If you put your focus on the new Mercedez Benz that has been your dream car for a decade, your brain will begin to feel as though you already own this fine piece of machinery. With that in place, your brain will then begin to look for those roadways that lead you to the car. The energy field that makes up who you are, will be drawn to opportunities that allow your dream car to be manifested into your existence.

If your thoughts, and the things on which you focus, help to create reality, then what better tool to put into place than a vision board. I have begun mine, right here on this page, with the picture above of a Mercedes Benz SLK (and I've entered another one here, just for good measure!!) This has been my dream car for a very long time. I even had the grand privilege of test-driving one. I was on lunch break one day, during the period in time when my mother was dying, and I was having a super tough day. I went by the Benz dealership to look around, in an attempt to make myself feel better. The salesman came over to me and asked if he could help me with anything. I explained to him that there was no possible way in which I would be able to purchase this car, but that I was having a nasty day and wanted to come in and gaze at my dream car. I can still remember like it was yesterday... he looked one way, then the other, said to me, 'well, we're not very busy, would you like to take it for a spin?' My jaw hit the floor, I said SURE, and he handed me the keys, put the top down, and off we went. I can still remember how 'heavy' this car felt, like nothing I've ever experienced behind the wheel. Heck smack, I drove a junky 1988 Ford Ranger for years! And as I write this, I'm recalling the picture of that car I had hanging on my wall. It's quite possible that this is what led me to getting even that close to my car. What a grand situation! No one lets any old straggler from the street drive a Benz!!! :)

In addition to the 1 million dollars pictured above, I've also got a picture of a house that is special to me. One day, while in a conversation about something totally unrelated, I had a flash, a waking vision of sorts. I saw myself and friends at this big beautiful house, with a pool, chandeliers, and a large spanning landscape. It was so out of the ordinary for me to experience a vision like that, that I told everyone I knew how odd it seemed. A couple days later, while randomly scanning through the TV channels (all 6 of 'em that I get from local TV) I stopped on The Mentalist with Simon Baker. Had never seen it, so I'm not sure what caught my eye...other than the fact that Simon Baker is hot! As I watched, I felt drawn, not to the show itself, but to watching it. Several minutes later, he arrived at the home of an interviewee... would you believe, another jaw drop? It was THE house from my vision. The picture is above. (If anyone knows where this episode 4 of The Mentalist "Ladies in Red' was filmed, or the approximate location on that house....I'd LOVE TO KNOW!! No chance of buying it now, but as soon as the Law of Attraction works out this part of my plan, I'll need to know where I can go to buy it...hee hee)
