Our NEW Short Course Delivery Program

Who says Short can't be a beautiful thing?

SANS is known for their incredibly deep 5 - 6 day courses. It's been said that taking a long SANS course is like drinking from a fire hose.

Well, we think that's a compliment....

At the same time, we recognize that quality doesn't have to come in a big package. Sometimes, great quality comes in a really small box, as is the case with our short courses. With these courses we start with the same criteria we use in accepting long courses and require the same stringent effort by the author, and they undergo the same strict review processes.

Don't underestimate the quality and usefulness of a short course (defined as any course under 4 days).

To help more students take advantage of our short courses, we are now expanding the field via the Short Course Delivery Program. This growing delivery mechanism brings our short courses to a community near you. Why is this important? Because this discounted program saves you time, money, travel, and time away from work while still giving you top skills that you get to put to use your first day back on the job.

It's a new program that we're working hard to expand via instructor recruitment. So, if you want to find out if there's an instructor near you, contact me with your location and I'll let you know. If there isn't currently, I'll set to work to find out if we have a SANS instructor in your area qualified to teach the class.

You asked for it

You got it

In two different surveys, students told us they wanted a management class that wasn't just for managers, but rather for everyone. We were told students wanted a class that would help them communicate effectively, write better reports, and give professional presentations.

No matter your job description, if you need to do any of these things in your job, Dave Hoelzer, SANS Fellow and a mentor to many new authors, has written a stellar one day course that will help you improve these necessary skills.

Look for it!

Our upcoming courseware

In our efforts to ensure we are keeping up with arming you to defend yourself, your networks, and your companies, we are constantly at work with leaders in the field to produce new courseware.
