How I make money working from home.
Ranked #3,285 in Arts & Design, #47,911 overall
Hi... I'm a Proseller on Zazzle
I thought I'd show you the fabulous quality of zazzle's printing services by showing you photo's of my own designs that I've purchased and photographed. It's hard sometimes to buy from 'Print on Demand' Stores without knowing what you're getting so thought this would help to show you how outstanding zazzle's stationery print quality really is.
I'll keep adding when I get new products so come back if it interests you.
Pip :)

What is Zazzle... what does it do... how does it work...
I wrote this other lense as a 'how to' step by step guide for how to customize/personalize products on zazzle. I'm hoping it will help others understand exactly what zazzle is and what it does.
And the other is a step by step visual guide to earning money as an affiliate for my products... or for the many 1000's of products available through zazzle. I give you the guides others will usually try and make you pay for.

Samples of Pip Pip Hooray designs printed on FELT card/paper type
FELT is definitely my favorite invitation paper type available on zazzle
I love Zazzle's FELT invitation paper/card stock... it's a gorgeous thick card with lovely embossed textural finish... a gorgeous high quality card stock that adds a touch of beauty and elegance to my designs. I have to admit.. when I first ordered samples of my designs on Felt and received them in the mail I literally jumped up and down and squeeled with delight when I saw them... I was just so happy with the quality! So pleasantly surprised and then so excited and enthusiastic to design more invitations on zazzle knowing the invite paper quality is just wonderful!!
I took photo's of some of my samples to try and hopefully show you some of that gorgeous quality on screen. Unfortunately ordering online you don't get that 'wow' factor that you get when holding stationery in your hands. So I've taken photos' to hopefully convey a little of that 'wow' factor to you.

My Zazzle Business Cards

*(click on image to view larger)*
I designed these 2 sets of business cards and have the tempates for them selling in my Pip Pip Hooray zazzle store.
Zazzle is brilliantly set up so you can easily enter your own text to the business card templates online in minutes just by typing over the example text in the 'Personalize it' Box. You get to see the changes to the design right there and then. You even have the option of then further editing your choice of products by clicking on the 'customize it' button to go to the larger editing area and moving, re-sizing and changing the font if you wish or changing the color, the position and more!
It's all in your hands and there's no waiting around for designers to get back to you!! :)
Have a go if you want... it's free and there's no obligation to purchase.
This is what I love so much about Zazzle and why I sing it's praises. The opportunity for customers to so easily and quickly personalize their choice of any product is just so brilliant and there's nothing else like it!
So anyway... back to showing you the quality of the printing at zazzle. This photo above is of my actual business cards that I hand out to friends and potential clients. I took this photo on my dining room table.
I have to say... when I first received these in the mail I was so impressed by the printing quality and colour vibrancy... the colours were gorgeous! For the price... I was so very very impressed!

Zazzle Postcards

These are just two of my postcards I ordered from my Pip Pip Hooray store.
Photo taken on my dining room table.
I was so impressed with the gorgeousness of the zazzle postcards! They really are top quality and I've seen nothing else that compares! They have stunning colour vibrancy and their fronts have gorgeous gloss treatment. The backs of the cards are full colour matte printing!
You really cant' go wrong with the postcards and they're so cheap! They're a brilliant alternative to the more expensive invitations with envelopes. And there's no minimum order quantity so you can order just 1 if you want.
There's no restriction with the amount of colours I can choose when designing my zazzle products which I just adore! I really can't say enough good things about the postcards... they're definitely one on my favourite zazzle products!

Some more postcards I ordered.
I designed these as new baby arrival thank you cards. On these you can easily add your own photo of your baby. So it's not only a one of a kind thank you note... but it's a keepsake for people to treasure as well.
They don't have to be a thank you though... you can change the text to whatever you want for any occasion... for any reason... it's all completely up to you! You have complete creative output control when it comes to creating your own stationery!
Again...the colours on these postcards just thrilled me! Especially the pink and white floral design... it was just beautifully vivid and bright. They really do outstanding printing at such affordable prices!

Here's another one of my designs I ordered to see how it turned out. All up I ordered over 20 of my designs and I was impressed with the printing quality on all of them!
In fact... I'll make a little admission here... I was so thrilled and excited to see my first zazzle products that arrived with my very own designs on them... I couldn't stop myself from doing little shrills of delight!! :) I tell you... the way it made me feel to open that envelope that day was truly one of those times I'll really remember!

Zazzle Photocards

My Mum ordered this for me as a surprise for my 33rd Birthday. It was her way of saying how proud of me she was with my new designing business.
She did it all herself... changed the text herself to a lovely personal message to me for my birthday.
And that's me when I was 19... if only I looked that way at 33!! :)
It was very sweet of her to do... she's always been one of my biggest supporters and I can't thank her enough for all her inspiration and guidance!
She's an artist and has a little shop on zazzle too... you can see it here lornie's Store at Zazzle
I put the photocards in the same quality category as the postcards! They're gorgeous bright colours with a lovely glossy front. Long with matching envelopes they're really very classy. They're one sided which leaves the back side blank with space for you to write an little hand written message if you wish.
I love photocards..... they really are wonderful quality at an affordable price. At around $1.50 each sometimes less and that includes the envelopes!! Minimum order quantity is 10.
My Interview with Zazzle!
Pip: I spent a wonderful 7 years working at Pan Macmillan Publishing Australia. I learned so very much there and the people there were just wonderful. The excitement of meeting celebrities & authors through their books was a real rush too. I cannot say enough good things about my time there. I wouldn't be doing what I am now on Zazzle without that time at Pan because that is where I learned most about computers, internet html and where I first self taught myself Paint Shop Pro. Without doing that I would never have then moved onto teaching myself the Adobe Creative Range of Software.
I left Pan Macmillan to have my son and did not return.
I worked briefly part time in a Kodak Photo Store, and during that time purchased a Canon Digital SLR Camera which helped re-ignite my creative passion for designing, because through photography I learned Photoshop inside & out. After that, I then had the confidence to start delving into vector art & design, beginning first in Photoshop & then moving onto Illustrator.
Once I started designing, I truly knew it was what I wanted to do in my life. I played around with t-shirt designs & photography until I realized stationery was where my heart was. Designing on Zazzle honestly makes me very happy. I'm very, very thankful that I can do what I what do from home and love it so very much.
Zazzle: What inspires you to create art?
Pip: Everything & anything. I've constantly got my 'design' eye working and looking for inspiration and ideas%u2026 that's part of the most fun I have with designing. I see inspiration in all kinds of places, from a pub's menu, a store catalogue, even in places like a children's book. And I'm always eying other people's fridges to see what they've got hanging on there. I keep a pen & paper handy in my bag, as well as beside the bed for writing down new ideas (especially for those rare times when a funny t-shirt slogan may just hit me). I learned the hard way when I thought up what I thought was a great slogan one night before sleep and couldn't for the life of me remember it the next morning!
Zazzle: Out of all of the designs you've created, or photos you've taken which one is your favorite?
Pip: So many are 'special' to me for different reasons. But I would have to say for sure that my favorite overall would be my 'Retro Circle Tree' that I've adapted and used on all kinds of stationery, from business cards, wedding invitations, baby shower invitations, to moving house postcards & birthday stationery!
For many years I'd been sidetracked from painting, because I was too busy with things like photography, Adobe software, black line drawing, as well as the little task of bringing up a little baby boy.
So once those things weren't foremost on my thoughts & to do's, (& the little boy was at the more independent age of 5) I prepared to get more involved in my creative mediums, so went out and purchased new materials. I finally sat down one night and decided to paint. I chose watercolour paints, because back when I did painting at art school, I used to enjoy it the most out of all paint mediums. I enjoyed that night of painting so much, that once I finished that tree I was hooked! Now I'm constantly trying to find ways to adapt watercolour or acrylic painting into my designs, and am always looking for new and different ways of using it and displaying it digitally.
Zazzle: What got you interested in selling your art on Zazzle?
Pip: My lovely Mum, Zazzler Lornie got me onto Zazzle when she first heard about it from someone else. My Mum is a wonderful artist and has always been an inspiration to me. We both seem to have a passion for creating in us.
When I started on Zazzle over a year ago I was just dabbling in some creative fun. I wasn't taking it seriously like I have been for at least the last 6 months. Now, my designs and store are on my mind most of the time.
Zazzle: Do you have any fun stories about being a seller on Zazzle?
Pip: I'd recently purchased a few sets of my own business cards and designed some flyers that were a sample catalogue of products I sell here, and I decided to post them all around my local area.
I had only just left them at my local Community Centre and Children's Play Centre, when I was contacted by a local lady that said she was walking out of the maternal health centre, (baby & toddler in tow), when, she said, my business card just jumped out at her. She said she just had to grab it. She said she looked up my store when she got home and told me she was so impressed that she just had to contact me and let me know what she thought. Not only that, but she also managed to get 15 of her friends to 'follow' my Facebook page in the meantime.
Well that in itself absolutely thrilled me, but then she contacted me two days later to say she was at the local children's playcentre (the ONLY other place that had my business cards) when she saw a lady walk past with my business card in hand. She stopped her and said 'Aren't they just gorgeous business cards?' and the woman said she'd picked it up to give to her friend for baby thank you ideas. She then said she went back to all her friends she was there with and talked about my store for a good while. They all then got a card and flyer to take home!
Well the coincidence of it all really floored me!! Then I realized how much free publicity I'd received from one business card!!
Zazzle: Great story Pip! Do you have any tips that may help new Zazzlers?
Pip: The internet is such a massive pond and each one of us are very tiny fish. To start a ripple effect you need to make a very big & consistent effort at making a splash first. Then it takes time for the ripple effect to reach you.
Also, I think you have to love what you do as well as making sure you do it honestly & right. There's nothing I'd rather be doing than designing and I like to hope that my love for what I do shines through.
Thanks Pip!!
