- I find most SeeSaws or Teeter Totters to be too engineered. I think it is important for children to experience a simple board on a log and the need to adjust it depending on the weight of the children on either end. It will help them understand physical science later in life.
There is one kind of seesaw that I do like here. It is the first one, the plastic alligator seesaw. It is difficult to find a toy that can be used by one, two or three children at the same time and that seesaw fits the bill perfectly. For toddlers and their siblings or cousins up to about 8 or 10 years old it is an ideal toy to encourage cooperative play.
Thank you for introducing me to many new styles of seesaws.
