Magimix Vision - the See-Through Toaster

When your toaster cremates the breakfast toast yet again, you probably wish you could see what was going on inside it. Well, with a See Through Toaster you can! Ordinary toasters are crafty - you check on the toast after a minute, and all's well. No sooner have you turned your back to make the coffee, and oh no, burnt toast! Not with Magimix Vision Toasters - now you can watch your toast brown!

This review is from: Magimix 11526 Vision Toaster 2-Slice Glass:
"Purchased as the glass sides are great! if like me you have too much time on your hands and like to watch the toast change colour, this represents an absolute steal. Perfectly matches my glass kettle and provides a far more interesting user experience.
After sales is also superior for a toaster, three years! WOW"

What a great idea. I am fed up with my trial and error toaster.

I would love to have a kitchen comprised of see through items. That would be beyond cool. See through toaster, coffee pot, cookware, and fridge....ah...the mere thought sends shivers of delight through me :)

This is a great idea, but at what price though! When we got our new gas cooker we stopped using our electric toaster, and went back to using the gas grill (broiler) to make toast, like we had when I was growing up. It always makes the toast nice and crispy not soggy, however you have to keep an eye on it because it's liable to burn the toast the minute you turn your head away, and of course you have to turn the toast over as well, but the effort is well worth it.

I have a toaster oven, so I can see what's going on. I had never heard of a see-through upright toaster before finding this page, but it makes sense. Still, I recommend a toaster oven...not only can you make toast but you can actually bake in it...and you also get the benefit of a glass door so you can see what's going on in there.
