The Power of Positive Thinking!
How do you develop The Power of Positive Thinking?
It wasn't until I started to read The Power of Positive Thinking books by my early mentors like Norman Vincent Peale and Dale Carnegie, did I realize what they could offer me. I controlled my personal growth and destiny.
I have to admit there was a time when I worried way to much about what other people thought of me. Did they like me? Did I wear the "right" clothes, was I good enough?
Do you know Paul Potts? Are you the next Paul Potts?
What I began to think about was who I would become. If I thought about being average and doing everything I was told, then I would be just that, "average". If I wanted to be a champion, to live out my dreams, I would be a champion.
I knew God had a bigger plan for my husband and family, but what? I knew I wanted to stay home with my kids, so continuing to teach kindergarten for the next 30 years was out. I wanted to bring my husband home and have the freedom to do what I wanted to do, not what my job dictated.
While reading Cynthia Kersey's book, Unstoppable Women, I realized I could achieve anything I set my positive mind too.
Obviously, we would need an income to survive. I wanted to work from home, with my family. Was this possible without investing money we didn't have?

Who is Paul Potts?
Paul Robert Potts (born 13 October 1970) is a British pop opera tenor who won the first series of ITV's Britains Got Talent in 2007, singing an operatic aria, "Nessun dorma" from Puccinis Turandot. Potts was a manager at Carphone Warehouse who also performed in amateur opera from 1999 to 2003.
