This lens has a simple technique that you can use to relax yourself into sleep followed by a video that has advanced sound technology called binaural beats to relax your body through just sound. Then there is some general information you can look through.

Insomnia Relief Technique

Counting down (for example from 10-1) tends to automatically relax your brainwave frequencies. You can enhance this effect with your intention and self guidance.

The technique involves counting down from 100-1 (or 1000-1 if you are particularly strong insomniac). The idea is to relax with each decrease in the count while tiring the conscious mind so it is easier to drift off into a nice deep sleep.

To enhance the mental concentration (and therefore mental tiring effect) you should visualize each number in white on a blackboard (or vice versa) and erase each number before writing out the next one.

Say 100 - visualize yourself writing it in white on a black board, inside a white circle - say to yourself 'with each decreasing number I will relax more and more'.

Then erase the number 100 from your imaginary blackboard and write 99 in the middle of the white circle. Then repeat the affirmation 'I am relaxing deeper and deeper'.

To enhance the relaxation effect, tense and relax each muscle group from your head to your toes.

Do number 98 next and continue all the way down to 1.

If you don't fall asleep before you reach 1 then at the very least you will be very relaxed. If you do reach 1 then start again but from 1000 and follow the same procedure. You will definitely fall asleep.
