The Self Improvement Mandate Act One
I am really letting the cat out of the bag here with this series of five articles I have called The Self Improvement Mandate. By reading and applying what you learn here you will take giant steps in your self improvement and change your life beyond your wildest dreams.
At this point you could be considering the other option which is fixing your buttocks to the sofa watching hours of dross on the goggle box....................................... this is fine if you want your life to stay exactly how it is now - but don't bitch and moan about your life being crap and that you never have any success at anything as I won't be listening.

Just Forget About The Past
Whatever you did in the past must not influence what you do now and in the future. This is critical. People conjure up all sorts of negative self images about themselves because of what they did before. Now I want to tell you that the Self Improvement Mandate has nothing to do with the following:
Believing in fate
Considering yourself lucky or unlucky
Letting your past rule your future
Accepting other people's opinion of you
Human beings are complex creatures. We build up irrational fears to things over the years that we have no reason to fear at all! Most people fear change. Well I have news for you my friend - the Self Improvement Mandate is all about change! Hey don't stop reading - these are small gradual changes that you will build upon each day. The first real important thing to remember then is:
"Don't dwell on any past failures you have experienced. Just learn from them and move on"
Let me explain further........................
Eradicate Your Yesterday Belief
All of us hold beliefs that have been strengthened over time. If you hear or see something enough times it will certainly make an impression on you. One of the Self Improvement Mandate's fundamental principles is getting you to change core beliefs that are holding you back in life. One that is pretty easy to change is what I have termed the "yesterday belief". Many people have this in their make up. This belief tells them that if they tried something before and it didn't work then it will never work for them. Maybe they bought some crap "how to be a millionaire overnight book" and surprise, surprise it didn't work so now they have no chance of ever becoming a millionaire. This is just dumb as dog shit but so many people think like this.
So how do you combat the yesterday belief? Well I told you above that the first important thing to learn from the Self Improvement Mandate is:
"Don't dwell on any past failures you have experienced. Just learn from them and move on".
So now you can use this to stop your yesterday belief. Anytime that you find your self thinking something negative e.g. "I tried to make money online before but it didn't work so it will never work for me" replace this thought with "I may have made a few mistakes making money online before but this time I will do it right" or something similar that will work with you. Don't hold beliefs that you failed because you are stupid or lazy or anything of this nature. Always learn and move on.
Don't Spin The Cycle
Why don't people follow through on New Years resolutions? Or dieting plans? Or fitness drives? It's because they have developed a cycle of starting something and not finishing it.
Have you done this in your life? How many things have you started and then thrown in the proverbial towel when because the going got tough or things didn't happen overnight? Life got in the way right? Look what I am telling you here is that you have to stop this cycle - break the pattern of starting things and not finishing them. The Self Improvement Mandate is all about understanding why people fail to live the life that they want - and how to make changes in your life that will give you what you want.
So stop spinning the cycle. Over the years I have studied why people fail and one of the biggest reasons is that they allow their past experiences with attempting to do something affect what they do in the future. Now that you are aware of this let's turn this into your advantage instead of giving up like the rest of the drifters do.
Recall Past Events And Jumpstart Your Success
We can all recall past events and learn from them to greatly improve our future. Now that you are committed to using the Self Improvement Mandate to improve your life (well you wouldn't have got this far if you weren't committed would you) then you can use these past events as references to supercharge your self improvement.
Let's say that you are contemplating losing weight again. Immediately a thought enters your head "hey dumbass, do you remember that you put all the weight back on plus after your last diet?" you can make a positive from this by asking a question such as "I did put all the weight back on last time, why was that and how can I make sure I don't do this again?" Your subconscious mind will now start searching to answer your question and will reveal why you put all the weight back on before and give you some ideas as to how you can prevent this from happening again. You then need to use this information to get the right result this time around.
The Self Improvement Mandate will take you on a rapid self improvement journey if you adopt its principles. The mandate allows you to make mistakes but it also teaches that you learn everything you can from these mistakes to make you a better person and follow the right path in the future. This is absolutely critical and you must address this if you are to progress in life. And I wouldn't be spending my time writing this for you if I didn't want you to progress - that's the whole point!
Do You Want To See Rapid Self Improvement?
Of course you do. Do these techniques work? You bet your anus they do. Trust me I found this out the hard way over the years. I have turned this around to believing that I can do anything, and what has happened before will never affect my future success. The techniques I have described above are responsible for this strong belief.
