Despite what most of the media would have you believe, it is STILL possible to sell house quick in this economy. The bold fact is that people are still, currently in this economy, selling their homes fast, but you can't rely on the same old method your grandma used to use.
The tried and true method of using a realtor is the most common tactic to sell a home, but does that get the job done? "How's that working for you?" How many realtors do you know, who can sell house quick? Not many.
The most disturbing fact that you need to know is that IT IS NOT realtors that typically sell house quick in this kind of economy, it is real estate investors.
While most realtors are pulling their hair out trying to get one listing to sell in their typical 6 month listing agreement, the talented investor down the road has bought and sold 2 homes!

For the Most part, Realtors DON'T Care If You Sell House Quick
It's just a numbers game to them....
Most real estate agents have a goal of listing more properties, NOT selling properties, and certainly not selling them quickly.Let me explain:
NO ONE cares more about your house than You Do!! Yeah, your realtor may say that they care about selling your home, but that's NOT the total truth!
In order to sell more houses, a realtor MUST have a large and growing listing inventory. The more houses they have in their inventory, the more houses will sell. It's simply a numbers game to them!!! They care MORE about 'listing' your house for sell then they do with selling your house quickly.
"Wait a minute, Fred dude! They have a vested interest in my house selling, so they get a paycheck. Why are you saying that they really don't care about my house sell?"
Ok, Ok. I'll level with you! You're right.
They DO care about your house selling, but they DON'T care in the way that they would have you to believe!
Realtors want you to think that they are focusing on your home and trying their best to sell YOUR home.
But, think about it. How much time during the day do they have? The same as you. About 16 hours, give or take (depending on how much you sleep).
Do you honestly think they will be spending all that much time promoting your house?
Realtors, for the most part, are driven by this thought... "Let me list this house for 6 months to a year, throw it up on the mls and if it doesn't sell, I'll just chock it up as a loss -- now where's the next listing I can get!"
Realtors know that it takes time to sell a house the way that they do it. Meanwhile, they need to feed their family, so they need to keep filling up their pipeline of properties, so when one drops because it doesn't sell, they have a bunch of chances that one will sell.
In short:
Realtors are playing craps with your house! "Oops, it didn't sell, oh well, crap maybe this one will.!"
If you want to sell house quick, then using one of these type of realtors (by the way, it's probably -- don't quote me on it -- something like 80 to 90% of the successful realtors out there) is NOT the best way to get it done.
