Making Money Online with your Artwork & Photos
So you have a ton of photographs, digital artwork, graphic design and / or scans of original artwork on your computer but you don't quite know what to do with them... How about make some money from them?!
Print on Demand
Print on demand companies and websites take all of the hard work out of selling your work online. They make the item using your artwork or photo - this could be a poster, magnet, t-shirt even skateboard then when someone buys it they ship it and take care of all the money side of things giving you a percentage of the sale in return.
All you have to do is setup an account, (all are free although some sites have premium accounts where you have to pay for to get the "bonus benefits"), upload your work, write a description, add a few keywords and away you go. You don't need to know html, everything is done with a few clicks of the mouse.
Once your signed up with an account you are given a storefront where you can display all your items for sale and direct people to it. Your items also come up in searches providing you have entered relevant keywords which is how most buyers will find your items and think "yes... gotta have this"!
There is usually also a community section on each POD site where you can hang out and get support from all the other artists - For the most part everyone is very friendly and will encourage newbie, handing out advice and telling you how great your items are!
It's unlikely that you will get rich from print-on-demand but it is possible to earn some pocket money - the more seriously you promote your items and dedicate time to creating and uploading new items the more money you can earn. The sky really is the limit!

Making Money at Zazzle
Most items are just bought one at a time, with $0.20 here and $1.90 there but it all adds up! Sometimes people buy in bulk though, and this is where the big dollars start to fly into your account!
My recent "bulk orders" are as follows:
Red Rose Postage - Quantity: 21 Sheets - My Royalty: $55.86
Purple Star Magnets - Quantity: 50 - My royalty: $23.12
Red Leaves Postage - Quantity: 12 sheets - My Royalty: $28.56
Go Green Stickers - Quantity: 50 sheets - My royalty: $48.50
Not bad for doing nothing eh?!

More Help and Info
I wrote a lense about How to Succeed on Zazzle which you might want to read, it has hints and tips on your gallery and where to promote. Although it's written primarily for people who are on Zazzle (cos that's the best place to make $ in my opinion!) the tips can be used on all of your print-on-demand galleries.

- I enjoy Zazzle a lot, but have barely made anything over there. I guess it's about the creation process for me, but I still keep on trying to sell. :)
