Introduction

The key to presenting a good seminar is good preparation. One of the easiest ways to prepare a seminar is to use a seminar preparation system that has proved to be successful for others. The seminar preparation system presented in this Lens uses a simple mnenomic, which is both easy to remember and even easier to use in practice. The mnenomic used for the system is EDITS, and the system can be used successfully for virtually any topic in any setting. With minor adjustment the same system can be used to prepare any speech, and the system also serves to provide an excellent outline for organizing any seminar or speech.
