My copywriting backgrond

I learned copywriting from Jo Han Mok and Rasheed Ali. After I learned from both of them, my career was change. Now day, my friend call me the best Indonesia Copywriting! Now I will tell my secrets how to create good copy and gread ads! Ok! And You will discover how to unlock your Internet Millionair inside you!

Acording to wikipedia

Copywriting is the process of writing the words that promote a person, business, opinion, or idea. It may be used as plain text, as a radio or television advertisement, or in a variety of other media. The main purpose of writing this marketing copy, or promotional text, is to persuade the listener or reader to act — to buy a product or subscribe to a certain viewpoint, for instance. Alternatively, copy might also be intended to dissuade a reader from a particular belief or action.

Copywriting can include body copy, slogans, headlines, direct mail pieces, taglines, jingle lyrics, World Wide Web and Internet content, television or radio commercial scripts, press releases, white papers, and other written material incorporated into advertising media. Copywriters can contribute words and ideas to print ads, mail-order catalogs, billboards, commercials, brochures, postcards, online sites, e-mail, letters and other advertising media.

On websites, copywriting may also refer to the methods of writing and wording used to achieve higher rankings in search engines. Often referred to as content writing, it includes the strategic placement and repetition of keywords and keyword phrases on webpages. As search-engine algorithms get smarter every day, this Search engine optimization (SEO) copywriting is more and more about writing for human visitors as well as for search engines, about offering fluent and readable content written in a SEO-wise manner.

But before we go further more you can discover what the most important formula in sales copy. The formula known as AIDA! Attention, Interest, Desire, Action!

Are you getting attantion with your opening?
Are you stating a problem the reader care about?
Are you offering a solution that really works?
Are you asking the reader to take action?

3 Killer 'Off Page' Webste Conversion Strategies - by Jo Han Mok

Is this scenario familiar?

You've launched your sales page and you are driving
traffic right to its doorstep, but the sales just
aren't coming in the way you had anticipated.
Things are not performing as planned and you naturally turn your attention back to the sales page, looking
for ways to improve it.

* You change the header.
* You adjust the headline.
* You alter the color scheme.
* You add another six p.s.'s

Nothing seems to be making a difference in terms of
conversions.

You read and re-read the sales copy repeatedly.

You make edit after edit, hoping to stumble upon the
fix for this disappointing situation.

Adjusting and tweaking your sales page is a great
idea.

Making smart modifications and carefully testing them
might turn what appears to be a loser into an
impressive moneymaker.

However, there are times when the problem isn't the
sales page. All of the tweaking and adjusting of copy
won't fix a thing when that's the case.

The trick, of course, is knowing when your copy is at
fault and when something else is afoot. How can you
tell when the problem is the sales page and when it
lies elsewhere?

First, look at your traffic.
Second, look at the competition.
Third, consider the product.

How To Write Million Dolar Sales Copy

Four Major Selling Principles

In this section I'm going to take a tour all the insider's secrets, strategies and techniques I personally use to create sales copy

I want to explain the major principles how to created successful advertising copy. This is accomplished in three ways :

1. First, I'll lay out the Four Major Selling Principles that must be present in any
ad, sales letter, or web-marketing piece.

2.Next, I give you a detailed, step-by-step formula for creating a high profit sales
piece. There are 14 steps in this formula. By following these steps (especially
when you're first starting out as a copywriter), you can create top-flight sales
copy with a minimum of effort.

3.Annotated versions of a sales letter, two space ads, a postcard mailer, and a web
marketing piece

Ok, can we start? First one for the Major Selling Principles
You must have a quality product. This might seem obvious, but from what I see being offered in the marketplace, a lot of
businesses overlook this crucial concept. Let's see why it's so important%u2026
First of all, if your product isn't of high quality, you'll have a high rate of returns. I know
of companies that have experienced return rates as high as 70% of all orders! Obviously,
that's a disaster.

Creating and using the Ideal Customer Profile.
What is an Ideal Customer? Quite simply, it's a customer with these characteristics:
1. A customer who wants your product.
2. A customer who has the ability to pay for your product.
3. A customer who has the authority to purchase your product.

Credibility Produces Maximum Profits.

The key to controlling an ongoing source of consistently high sales is having credibility
in your marketplace. This might sound vague or mysterious at this point. But I guarantee that after you've been
in a marketing-intensive business for a few years, you'll come to live by this principle.

The Offer Is Everything.

In today's marketplace, your offer is the most important component of your advertising.
Or, put another way, the deal is everything.

The Most Important part of any web copy

The HEADLINE

Without a doubt the most crucial thing in sales copy is The Headline. According to Dan Lok there's saying that "the fish rots from the head". Well, so does a sales latter. Your sales massage starts with a headline---literally and figuratively. If you've got a boring, unappealing headline, the costumer will think that the rest of your copy stinks like day- old fish too

Rule #1 to success in "internet marketing" to generate maximum income from your web site is to get your "black belt" in headline. Become a master at identifying and creating high-impact, attention-getting phrases that make your sales latter magnetic.

Sub-header

Why this Is So Important?

The sub-header's purpose is to give immediate credibility to the claim made in the
headline. It does this by introducing a satisfied client's testimonial. Also, the promise made in the headline is elaborated on with specific details of what might be expected
-increased income of as much as 917%.
This type of claim made by an independent third party gives the promise significant
credibility. Quite different than my saying, "Believe me, I can increase your sales by 917%."

If You Are In Business, You Must Know How to Sell

Selling is the number one skill you MUST learn

I learn from Jo Han because he is my mentor.:)
Forget the numerous "no selling required" ads you have come across online because that is pure B.S. statement. The reason is simple: the truth is that if you do not know how to sell or HATE selling, you cannot make money. Period.
If not for the ability to sell, how are professionals able to charge high service fees and still get paid the amount they ask for? If not for the ability to sell, how did the Wright brothers manage to convince the world about their first invented aircraft when people could still live and travel without them?
On the other hand, the Internet marketplace is jam-packed with plenty of fantastic ideas and wonderful products. Chances are that you have:
A great idea that you think you can make money from,
A product that solves a specific problem, and/or
An income opportunity to provide to people online.
But the fact is this: if you do not know how to sell, you cannot turn your idea or product into a money-producing asset, no matter how great or high in quality they actually are. Having received Joint Ventures proposals on a very regular basis, I am acutely aware whether the person has the ability to sell or not. I have learned that most people have million-dollar ideas, but also more often than not, they do not have the skill to sell them let alone instill commercial value in their ideas or products. Without making this sound like a boring E-Commerce class, the point I want to drive home is, whether you are selling your intellectual asset, service, tangible goods, or whatever kind of product or solution, without the ability to sell, your product or asset is worth nothing.
The Good News The good news is that with the Internet being such a powerful medium, there is no need for you to go door to door to sell. Even if you join an online Multi Level Marketing company, you get to cover many prospects in the shortest time possible, which you cannot possibly accomplish in conventional business. There is no need for you to travel to meet your prospects, either, as the Internet brings every Internet user to your computer screen. In addition, there is no need for you to recruit your own salespeople - or even do the selling yourself manually with every single prospect! All you need to do the selling on your behalf is a powerful sales copy.

Sub Headlines

This is almost as important as your headline.

This is almost as important as your headline. If your sub headline sucks then you lose the visitor just as fast.

Keep creating more curiosity to your offer.

I've made the sub headline still very large, but still smaller then the main headline.

Repetition Is the Mother All Skill

The magic happens in the 'follow up'.

Your sales message only becomes more powerful with repeated exposure. Repetition hammers your sales message home.

For the first time when you visitor come to your web what they will do? Some time they only read your sales latter and then they go away.

So you must offer some free article or some report to get their names and emails. So you can followup's your costumer and if they don't buy your product you can offer another product.

let create landing page or opt-in and use some autoresponder such as aweber, getresponse, 1shopingcharts, etc.

SO repetition is the mother all skill

FREE Publicity

CREDIBILITY

CREDIBILITY is what makes publicity such a valuable tool. You see, people today are
far more sophisticated than they've ever been when it comes to advertising. They realize
that advertising is paid for. And that companies can buy space to say whatever they wish
about their products and services. Because of this, your potential customers are far more
skeptical then they've ever been

But publicity leaps this hurdle of skepticism. Because publicity cannot be bought, it
appears to be endorsed by the medium that makes your announcement. And since people
tend to trust the media they watch, listen to, or read regularly, they accept your message
as being completely credible

Copywriting Technique

Sampling is a simple yet highly effective technique that can be used with almost any

1. Headline
The headline focuses on the promise of a major benefit: increasing your sales and profits.
With small ad space, you have only a fraction of a second to catch your prospect's
attention.
You can't be subtle here. You have to figure out what the biggest benefit is your prospect
wants. Then hammer it home as simply and directly as you possibly can.
You won't get another chance. So you have to make your headline as clear and appealing
as possible. If you don't, you've lost the prospect forever.

2. Sub-header
The sub-header's purpose is to summarize the benefits and the offer immediately. There
are two reasons for this. Again, you won't command your prospect's attention for long
with this small amount of space. So you have to do everything you can to make a
compelling presentation in a very limited space.

3. Elaborate On The Promise
The remainder of the copy focuses on six bullet points that repeatedly amplify the benefit
promised in the headline. Each bullet elaborates on how the newsletter will increase the
prospect's sales and profits.

4. Instruct The Prospect On What Action To Take
You can't leave anything to chance. If you don't tell your prospects precisely what you
want them to do, a high percentage of them won't do anything. This block gives the
prospect a clear and simple instruction to fill in the reverse side and send the card in.
Side Two
5. Response Block
This block provides the prospect with space to fill in the information to get their free
subscription. It also repeats what they'll be getting: a free one-year subscription.
6. Return Address
The postcard is self-addressed. Again, you don't want to leave anything to chance. The
simpler you can make it for the prospect, the less chance there is of something going
wrong.
7. Postage
Finally, this side of the postcard acts to further qualify the prospect. Studies have proven
that making your prospect jump through a small hoop will separate a high percentage of
the lookers from the buyers.

Do Your Readers Act When They Read Your Copy?

The Inner Work On The Call To Action

In this lesson, we'll discuss the biggest reasons why your readers don't act when they
read your copy.

Big Reason #1: Your readers are not targeted enough.
Big Reason #2: There is no momentum in your sales letter
Big Reason #3: You're not baiting them with the bonus
Big Reason #4: You're not piling on the bonuses
Big Reason #5: Your reader has no confidence in himself

Amazing Advertising Tips

Turn your ad into an article. It could be a story,
or how-to article. This will lead readers into your ad
without them knowing it's an ad. They'll already be
interested when they get to your sales pitch. For
example, you could start your ad, "Once upon a time%u2026"
or "Free Report! How to....".

You could upsell to your customers. When they're
at your order page, tell them about a few extra related
products you have for sale. They could just add it to
their original order. For example, you could say, "Our
new e-book would make a nice edition to the report.
Just click here to add it to your order. It's only $15
more."

Tell your customers if they refer four customers to
your web site, they will receive a full rebate of their
purchase price. This will turn one sale into three sales.
You could also offer them other things in return for
referrals like free e-books, free software, coupons,
discounts, etc.

When you sell a product, give your customers the
option of joining an affiliate program so they can make
commissions selling your product. This will multiply
the sale you just made. For example, just imagine how
many sales you could have with 1000 affiliates selling
for you. It could eliminate ever buying any paid
advertising again!

Use the phrase "invest in our product" instead of
the words "buy" or "purchase". This makes prospects
feel they're investing in their future if they buy. You
could also tell people how much others have got
back from your product by publishing testimonials
of people who have made money or reaped the benefits

Headlines Exposed

Hypnotic Headline Templates

How To...
An "How To.." headline grabs your prospect's attention because it tells their brain they are about to learn something new that could benefit their lifestyle. The headline should get their attention and explain how to get their benefit faster, cheaper, easier, etc.
Example:

"How To Get Out Of Debt In 1 Year Or Less!"

Unlock...

An "Unlock..." headline grabs your prospect's attention because when something is locked-up it's perceived as being more valuable. Your product would of course be the key that will unlock the benefit for them.

Example:

"Unlock The Secrets Of Selling High Ticket Items!"

Discover...

A "Discover..." headline grabs your prospect's attention because it gives your prospects a sense of adventure. It's just like in a story when someone discovers a treasure chest or a lost artifact.

Example:

"Discover 3 Simple Ways To Reduce Your Unwanted Wrinkles!"

...Exposed

An "...Exposed" headline grabs your prospect's attention because it sounds as if somebody was trying to hide something. Your prospects will want to know what was being covered up and why.

Example:

"Used Car Dealer Sales Tricks Exposed!"

...Explained

An "...Explained" headline grabs your prospect's attention because it will give them a clear picture of a benefit they may not understand how to get. If there is something you don't understand and it could benefit you, wouldn't you want it explained?

Example:

"Top Search Engine Optimization Strategies Explained!"

Breaking News...

A "Breaking News..." headline grabs your prospect's attention because breaking news usually happens when it's really important and can't wait until the normal news show time. It's usually something major like serve weather, a terrorist attack, war footage, etc. It makes people stop what they're doing and take notice.

Example:

"Breaking News! Scientist Finds Breakthrough Weight Loss Formula!"

Headline Expose

The Attention Grabber.

First up comes the headline. The oh so well known and the most apparent block of larger than life bold text at the head of the sales letter. So what's the intention of the headline? Well, the answer to that is twofold. Its first job is to capture the attention of the visitor. To snap them out of whatever they're doing, and divert all their attention to your copy. The second, and most importantly, it's to persuade the reader to read on. It's a short, sharp taste of what you're offering designed to make the visitor drop everything, snap out of their daily grind like trance, and listen to you. When writing your headlines, it's important to spend a little time playing with some words. Here's a list of words:
New, Announcing, Urgent, Insider Secrets, Unbelievably, Stunningly, Exploit, Powerful, Shocking, Valuable, Amazing, Limited, Bribe, Boost, Wealth, Ingenious, Bone-crunching, Jumpstart, Confidential, Demand, Avoid, Instantly,Hidden assets Elite, Must-read, Jaw-dropping, Examine, Accurate, Frustration, Hardcore, Revealed, Hidden, Inner circle, Special, Original, Results, Awesome, Solution, Ammunition, Ultimate, Advantage
What you have to remember is that to catch this attention in the first place, your headline needs to be short, and to the point. It's not a summary of your product, and it's not just there to grab attention being completely unrelated to your product. As with your product itself you can categorize a positive headline in the same way.
