Semi Precious Stones
Semi precious stones are one of my loves. When set in gold or sterling silver and made into a ring, a pair of earrings or necklace, they become one of the most beautiful pieces of jewelry that you can own and have in your lifetime.
There are many semi precious stones in many different colours and all have different mythical meanings and healing properties.
Semi precious stones are also called gem stones which are attractive mineral pieces which are cut and polished and then made into different pieces of jewelry or are just appreciated on there own.
There are rocks such as Lapus Lazuli and other organic matter, Amber or Jet used in jewelry.
These semi precious stones are hard and the rarer the stone the more valuable it becomes.
