What separates a woman from a man? Surely, many things, and among them one of the most important ones - the Love of Flowers. Do not ask me why. It is what it is, and who are we to argue with the Mother Nature? It is similar to the mother's unconditional love for her children. Even if she gets angry with you at times, she still always loves you. It's just sometimes it shows as "tough love", but it is Love nonetheless.

Granted, we also have an unconditional love for your parents, and especially the one who raised us for the most part. But we are busy. Yes, we are very busy these days to show it. How often do we visit our mom? What if we live in another city or state? Yeah, we could send chocolates, but does our mother need more sugar??? Probably not. We could also send a piece of jewelry. It would be nice, but much more expensive. So, the best choice is - as it Always was and Always will be - a bouquet of flowers!!!

I promise you (and I am sure you know it all by yourself), your mom will be enjoying the look and the aroma for a long time. Most importantly, she will be enjoying knowing that her child remembers her and loves her...

In 1907, A. Jarvis, a Philadelphia schoolteacher, started a campaign to establish a national Mother's Day in honor of her mother, A. M.Reeves Jarvis. With the help of hundreds of legislators and businessmen to create a special day to honor mothers she got off to a good start. The first observance of Mother's Day was a church service honoring Anna's mother. Anna handed out her mother's favorite flowers, white carnations, as they represent sweetness, purity, and patience. Her hard work paid off in the year 1914, when President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed the second Sunday in May as a national holiday in honor of mothers.
