Senior Squids - a new social networking group for Squidoo lensmasters over age fifty
Are you over age fifty? Are you a Squidoo lensmaster? If the question is YES to both, you're welcome to join a new group, Senior Squids... for those of us born a while back.
I love being an older citizen and I hope you do too. I love networking with others my own age. Of course I still love networking with younger people too, but having a special retreat space for just older people is a blessing.
If you feel that way too, please join this new group... I will enjoy creating new friendships there in the months to come.
Here's how to join:
Are you a "Senior" Squid?

Yes?

Then click this link and join our Ning group - we'll be happy to see you there:
Senior Squids.
Why 50?
...it is a nice, round number.
The local senior club takes in people over age 55. I thought I'd give it a little lee-way. If people over 50 are comfortable with being in a group for 'seniors' they're certainly welcome.
The fiftieth birthday is a frightening, major event for many of us. I think if we can live through that, we deserve something special, like a little social club to hang out at.
These are the lensographies for our weekly challenges...
...yes, we're having lots of fun building new lenses together!

- Well, I did it again. Somehow I missed seeing you here and adding my mug shot to the rest of the senior squids. I've just read what everyone else had to say and I quote a suggestion from one "young" lady. "What about a music video from the 50's or 60's that we can listen to while we read?" I have an old juke box on my Staycation..Everyone Should Try One lens and you are quite welcome to duplicate it here if you want. It really is "smart!" Plays all the oldies and goodies on it. Come have a look and decide.
Thanks you for accepting me into your group.
