    I am just over a month away from being a Senior Squid so I had best get my shoes polished and think about applying! Blessed by a passing Squid Angel :-)

    I've been reading Senior Squid lenses for awhile now. Beautiful work and a group I would love to join. I was 29 for a lot of years but it's getting harder and harder to maintain the lie. It's time to dance with my friends.

    Well, I did it again. Somehow I missed seeing you here and adding my mug shot to the rest of the senior squids. I've just read what everyone else had to say and I quote a suggestion from one "young" lady. "What about a music video from the 50's or 60's that we can listen to while we read?" I have an old juke box on my Staycation..Everyone Should Try One lens and you are quite welcome to duplicate it here if you want. It really is "smart!" Plays all the oldies and goodies on it. Come have a look and decide.

    Hi Linda,
    Actually Senior GEEK Squids group changed the entry age to 50 awhile ago because we decided it was holding back some fine members ... the more fun for "older" Squidoo lensmasters the better, I say! Everyone who's a member here is invited to join as well ... and thanks for the feature - I'll reciprocate today. We can duo-team and make Senior Squids RULE!

    I'm not a senior Squid, but I can tell you that you guys all have one thing in common - your wisdom really does come across in your writing. Great group of lensmasters, and an excellent idea for a group. Squid Angel blessed!

    Newbie here. 52 and counting. I knew I was in trouble when AARP started sending me mail about five years ago. I will not join that group for that reason alone. (Who sold me out to their mailing list?)

    I guess I am a bit of an anomaly on Squidoo, in that yes, I do qualify for this group but as I have children whose ages range from 32 to 10, I am still doing that parenting thing as well.

    However, it is great to be able NOT to talk about the latest school project that is driving you nuts and if I am honest I do envy all you guys having perhaps more free time than I do. So I guess that one of these days I will mosey - mosey? I am hanging out with too many Americans these days ;) - along to the Ning and take a deep breath and admit I am old enough to join!

    I too am a senior Squidder. I have separated my lenses in two. One with my paintings at lensmaster irenemariaamoroso and all the others at lensmaster irenemaria

    I can't get the sign in process to accept my e-mail but I do exist on squidoo. One of my lenses is Inspirational Meditations. Perhaps you could find a way for me to join the over 50's. I am well qualified being 62. I think this is a marvelous idea.
