Favorite Plants Squidoo Writers Wrote About

For a weekly writer's challenge I suggested this; your favorite or most interesting plant. No not your favorite color or book or movie. We are mature, experienced visitors, lookers, thinkers, wanderers and just plain gardeners. Writers and photo takers too; Squidoo is a venue that allows an internet writer lots of freedom to add their own pictures and photos.

This writer's challenge allowed for this. Links and photos below to access the flower or plant that sparks your interest.

Browse internet writers stories and feelings about their favorite plants.

Robert Frost Wrote about Birches

I'd like to go by climbing a birch tree,

And climb black branches up a snow-white trunk,Toward heaven, till the tree could bear no more,

But dipped its top and set me down again.

That would be good both going and coming back.

One could do worse than be a swinger of birches.

I'm with EditionH - I love hydrangeas. Nikko Blue are my favorite. They're a bit picky about where you put them though. I have tons of sun in my south facing yard so I had to borrow some real estate from underneath a Butternut tree. They seem to like it.
